Scripture Reading: I John 3:1-24.

Memory Verse: James 4:17.

1. What constitutes sin? I John 3:4.
2. What are some other things that God considers sin? James 4:17, Romans 14:23, Matthew 12:31-32, I John 5:16-17.
3. How many have sinned? Romans 3:23, Proverbs 20:9, Isaiah 53:6.
4. What is the final result of unforgiven sin? Romans 6:23, John 3:16-19.
5. There are sins of commission and there are sins of omission. Of which of the two sins were the priest and the Levite guilty in the parable of the Good Samaritan? Luke 10:30-37.
6. What would be some other sins of omission? James 4:17.
7. What are some sins of commission? Galatians 5:19-21.
8. Sins of commission can be divided into two categories of those within our minds and those without. What are some that are within? Ephesians 4:31, Titus 3:3, II Timothy 3:1-5.
9. What are examples of sins that are without our bodies? Colossians 3:5.
10. What does the Bible say will be denied us if we have sin in our lives? Galatians 5:21 (last part), I Corinthians 6:9-10.
11. Discuss the parable Jesus told of the servant and his lord. Do you think this parable would be classified as a sin of omission? Luke 12:41-48.
